Role of Teixobactin in Medicine Teixobactin is the only antibiotic able to kill superbugs. Superbugs are antibiotic resistant bacteria but not Teixobactin can kill superbugs. Role of edible vaccines with bacteria Bacteria are helping to cure infections disease. Vaccines are being placed inside crops to grow and give to people to eat.

Role of Bacteria in modifying plants Scientist take bacteria DNA and insert it into plant DNA, which helps the plants grow, be insect resistant, and other new traits. Role of bacteria in food Bacteria helps in food by creating different foods when the food and bacteria are put together, like sour dough bread.

Role of Bacteria in bioremediation Bacteria helps to clean waste, toxic metals like mercury can be converted to non-toxic substances. Industrial Biotechnology – Role of Bacteria in treating waste Bacteria is placed in waste water and cleans the waste by breaking it down.
