1 Alignment of Interests in Smart Commercial Transportation
Drivewyze Wayne Malkin, CTO March 9, 2016

2 Who is Drivewyze? Intelligent Imaging Systems parent company established >10 years ago Sells to enforcement agencies at weigh stations Solutions  in many U.S. states, and also in Alberta, with products like:  license plate readers, overhead cameras, DOT and sticker readers, infra-red imaging, VWI, operational solutions such as lane control and vehicle tracking in the busiest weigh stations in the United States. Diversisfication strategy resulted in subsidiary Drivewyze leveraging IIS’s experience in transportation solutions  SaaS products sold to commercial transportation fleets

3 What are we doing? ELD Drivewyze is building the industry’s largest network of connected commercial vehicles, largest network of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) industry partners ELD is in-cab compater with GPS capability and often internet connectivity Delivers navigation, routing, , etc. Largest network of enforcement agencies – 36 states and counting

4 Bypass Service Drivewyze is synonymous with PreClear, our flagship product -  Runts on smartphones and partner devices (PeopleNet, Rand McNally, Omnitracs, Zonar, XRS) Provides drivers with opportunities to bypass weigh stations  Based on safety record, weight compliance record, license and registration data, and other factors Benefits to: Drivers: no delays, no queueing, make more $$$ by getting in more miles per shift Fleet: avoid wasted minutes in station queueing or being inspected; better on-time delivery record; better resource utilization; retain drivers; more data about their fleet ELD Partner:  revenue share, leveraging investments, deliver more value to customers; “stickiness” Enforcement: better focus with limited enforcement staff; more chances to inspect vehicles with safety / inspection issues if they can bypass good fleets

5 Service Expansion unified platform
Intelligent sensor: significant logic exported to device; 20m data points per day collected at cloud are already high level aggregations; at sensor level would be 5b data points Additional products: combining real-time vehicle location data with other data and information systems: Safety notifications Driver analysis / training Enhanced inspection Just-in-time permits Parking Toll reconciliation and payment

6 Aggregated Data ELD Data Products: Fleet data used by owning fleet
State data used by owning state Aggregated, anonymized data will provide many opportunities to learn and enhance commercial transportation: Diverse partner in-cab systems Fleet sizes from individual owner-operators to s-m-l fleets Enforcement data Weight compliance histories

7 How do we build this integrated network?
Law ELD Fleets DOT Drivers Align Current Interests: Safety - Time & Fuel - Road congestion - Compliance Concerns: data privacy, sharing between fleets and enforcement; Connecting fleets, enforcement, and ELD vendors has been enabled by aligning interests along: Safety Efficiency - time and fuel, resource utilization Compliance other factors

8 Equitable and Efficient Collection Roadway Maintenance
Future Interests Permits Taxation Loads Equitable and Efficient Collection Roadway Maintenance Future solutions will also benefit from alignment in new directions such as: Efficient and equitable taxation / tax collection Administration of permits Efficient inspections Transportation planning, efficient maintenance, equitable use of roadways etc.

9 Summary ELD Safety Efficient use of Roadways Taxation Compliance
In fact, each time we evaluate a new product or technology, there are a surprising number of ways that interests align and diverse stakeholders find common ground The Drivewyze PreClear bypass product is bringing together diverse stakeholders in a cooperative network. We have already started to trial a second offering - high rollover notifications and driver analytics at high rollover zones - and we are looking forward to building and deploying new solutions that provide measurable benefits to fleets, enforcement agencies, transportation planning, and our partners. Compliance
