What is Gale? Gale is an online database of resources (magazines, images, blogs, etc…) that DVMS is a “member” of. You can use it to find articles to help you complete the mandatory 10 resources that you must have for your science fair research assessment. How do I access it? ---->

How to Research You need to use broad topics….this is NOT a Google Search and you should be careful when you search Google. If my Science Fair Topic is ‘How much water can a paper towel hold’…. I DO NOT type that into the search. I would begin by searching Paper because paper towels are made like paper, I would click on advanced search, put the key word Paper into the box, scroll down to the level of reading and select Basic. At the bottom of the page, click search. When you pull up the information click the article you want, and write the information on your source card or paper. On the right side you will have a box titled subjects, this may help you find more information. Use this video for research info on Gale.
