What is duality? As hinted at by the word "dual" within it, duality refers to having two parts, often with opposite meanings, like the duality of good and evil. If there are two sides to a coin, metaphorically speaking, there's a duality.

Your story will be focused on how gray is created in the world. Characteristics of Short Fiction
Narrative can be read in one sitting; There is one main character (protagonist); The story’s plot (action) follows the main character; There is a singular conflict; There are limited (few) locations and time is limited to a brief period of time- often one day; The story must have a beginning, middle, and an end. The theme is singular and often universal. Characterization: What we are told (narrated) What is said- by character and by others What we see (actions)
