17. Way Forward The following additional services may be considered :
Authorisation for Digital Signature issuance both for IEC and for benefits
Online Application for IEC (Although this service is being provided by many offices for free at present)

18. SUGGESTIONS
ISO Audit standardization- It is found every year different auditors opine different processes which makes it confusing to adapt. While one is in favour of paperwork, other is not.
Suggestion: Implement procedure/guidance for audit as per system.
Work instruction needs updation/review: Different areas which require review are:
Events(Dom and international) status updation to RC/DG-please define status. Is it from initial, mid process or final status?
Events budget: only after Rs 25000/- to be sent to RC/DG. Upto Rs 25000/- can be approved by Regional Head.
Deficit budget is to be forwarded to DG but the same is not mentioned in the work instruction.
SG designation may be removed from WIs where it appears.
FIEO Website: VRL format is old. Confusion during recent audit.
RCMC airwaybill number may be incorporated in intranet. This will save photo copying of so many RCMC pages. System may incorporate sms and mail so that exporter gets a message that RCMC has been despatched.
Eadmin : Incorporation of online application and approval for conveyance & tour claims.
Updated MoUs may be listed in FIEO website/intranet since ISO process in any way requires review of MOUs.
