1. POE SPRINGS ROAD is also known as County Rd 340 or 236 (there is a BP gas station at the intersection. w/27). About 4.5 miles on this road you will see the entrance to Poe Springs Park (on the right). The very next dirt road 90th take a right, follow this road. It becomes very narrow, stay on the road as it takes a sharp left. You will pass Lily Springs, Pickard Springs and continue to Magnolia Springs. Turn right onto Magnolia Springs, follow drive and take a right when the road splits to Martha’s house , don’t go to the trailer on the left or the little shed ahead of you. If you go past Magnolia Springs to Green Heron Landing you will see a big field with a VW bus. Turn around in field and come back to Magnolia Springs.

4. Transect measurements at Lily Springs
Measurements were obtained with an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP).
The ADCP records data, in real time, of the velocity profile.
By towing the ADCP across a section we can obtain the discharge at that section as shown in the following slide.
