This week we will begin our last unit of study, which is the Trees Study. This week we will discuss what do we know about trees? What do we want to find out? During this unit we will also be doing a lot of planting during this time. If you have any seeds, bulbs or flowers at home and would like to donate to our classroom it would be greatly appreciated.

Home Connections:
At home you can help too. Talk to your child about the different types of trees, how trees help our community and everyday life. If you are able to take a “tree walk” with your child, please have your child look at the different types of trees and compare them. Explore with your child the parts of a tree and collect some on a nature walk. Talk to your child what a tree needs to grow, what comes from a tree and how we use trees to make/create.
