1. Year 11 Exam period plan Our aim:
Maximum impact for revision and intervention
Low stress for staff
Clarity for staff, students and parents

2. Before half term
Students attend the academy every day as normal and all lessons are attended (unless students are in an exam)

3. Before half term
All afternoon lessons are taught (regardless of which exam they have the following morning). The only exception is if the exams for that lesson have already finished

4. Before half term
If subjects have finished all their exams, lessons are used for revision.  Other staff can come and take students (FCFS basis - with google doc of students)

5. Before half term
All morning lessons are taught, however if students have an afternoon exam, they may study independently during P3 and the start of P4.

6. Before half term
If students have an afternoon exam, they can go home straight afterwards. If they have detentions or after school intervention, they should stay on site (not leave and return)

7. Before half term
The leavers’ assembly will be on the morning of Friday 27th May, after the English exam.
They will then leave the site.
We will not inform students in advance.

8. After half term
Morning exam am line up, Afternoon exam pm line up

9. After half term
If students have an afternoon exam, they come in for revision at a specific time in the morning ONLY

10. After half term
If students have a morning exam, they come in the previous afternoon

11. After half term
Revision slots will be timetabled and should not be changed by staff (once agreed by CLs). Staff must collect/drop off students from reception

12. How will we do it? Overview timetable for all staff
Individual timetables for students
Rooming and cover will be planned for you
Registers at reception for students to sign in/out

13. Other exam information
There will be breakfast for staff and students before all morning exams from 7.30am
The exams cannot run smoothly without your help and support
Ensure you have checked the line up/dismissal timetable in advance and are clear on your role
Let us know if you can’t make any of the slots

14. Exam procedures
Teachers, MLs and line managers of a subject are not allowed in the exam room during the exam at any point
Students are not allowed to take labelled bottles, opaque pencil cases or any revision materials into the exam room
Their phones and smart watches must be turned off and handed in
Once students have entered the exam room, they are not allowed to leave and return (unless it is a supervised toilet visit)

15. Exam procedures
If students are very late to the exam, we will need to inform the exam board - the exam board could choose not to mark their paper
Students must be in full academy uniform for all exams
Students should leave coats and bags in their lockers or in the storage cupboard beside the Sports Hall. They are not permitted in the exam room

16. Exam procedures
If a student seems genuinely unwell, let the lead invigilator or SBU know asap. There will be no arrangements for students with stress/anxiety issues unless this has been pre approved by the awarding bodies
The academy will not lend equipment to students - please ensure they are aware of what is required for the exam

17. Year 12 Arrangements All students attend all timetabled lessons
After their AS exam students still attend lesson but revise other subjects
PM exams students revise for that subject but in their timetabled lesson OR
PM exams students do not come in until their exam
After their AS exam students do not attend that subject
Students return 20th June?
