Place to list all PD including group/staff day PD and individual activities – This is where approvals are made and CEUs are tabulated
List college credit in the Coursework list
Username – full
Password – 4 digits of phone number and first and last name initials capitalized (1234JK)

Group PD updated occasionally
Individual PD requires PD approval form and other paperwork

6. New for VWCS LPDC 2018
Consistently High performing teachers – Exempt from completing coursework or CEUs for the renewal process during a specific 5-year period (as per ODE eligibility)
Requirements (must let lpdc know you are planning to renew through this process)
Hold a 5-year professional license
Receive highest final summative rating (accomplished) at least 4 of the past 5 years of license
Meet at least one of the following criteria for at least 3 of 5 years of cycle
Hold a valid senior or lead professional educator license
Hold a locally recognized teacher leadership role that enhances educational practices by providing professional learning experiences at a district, regional, state or higher ed. Level
Serve in a leadership role for a national or state professional academic education organization
Serve on a state-level committee supporting education
Receive state or national education recognition or award

7. New for vwcs lpdc 2018
Can TBT activities be used for PD? LPDC answer – sometimes!
IF the TBT activity is to learn something NEW, the PD will be available if discussed with LPDC beforehand: for example - literacy Collaborative. Sign-ins must be used and time-log kept. Activity must be approved.
Public School works – how do we count this for PD
Release time during PD days will not be listed within the PD CEUs
When public school works courses are done, list on PDM in CEUs and turn in verification sheet to LPDC to show hours/courses completed. Only PD first time through a licensure period.

8. Final LPDC thoughts…
NEW: All PD must now be listed on the PDM and turned in within a year of completion
NEW: All previously unlisted PD must be listed on the PDM by June 30, 2019
