1. Government

A presidential system is a system of government where a head of government is also head of state and leads an executive branch that is separate from the legislative branch.

A parliamentary democracy is a form of government where voters elect the parliament, which then forms the government. The party with the most votes picks the leader of the government (Prime Minister).

8. unitary
A system of political organization with a central supreme government which holds the authority over and makes the decisions for subordinate local governments.

9. confederation
A group of people, countries, organizations, etc., that are joined together in some activity or effort
