1.1 - PROGRESSING - Two Routes
18 May 2018 PROGRESSING - Two Routes Moving On Where a student completes a UCLan qualification entirely in the Partner and then chooses to study a higher level qualification at UCLan or a Partner. OR Module Registration – Options Is the new name for the process where a student has studied at a Partner institute and is continuing with the same qualification at their Partner institution or a UCLan campus.

18 May 2018 MOVING ON or MODULE REGISTRATION - OPTIONS Apply with… Moving On form (submitted to UCLan Admissions) Module Registration - Options Form (submitted to the UCLan School) This is your option Moving On Module Registration - Options The course you are currently on Foundation Degree, HNC, HND, Certificate at a Partner and then studying a higher qualification at UCLan. Foundation Entry, Year 1 or 2 of a 3 year degree and continuing your course at a Partner or UCLan NB – if you are staying in your Partner institution, the College’s own application form may be used. For nursing and social work, you will need to apply through UCAS.

View our Moving On Guide at Search for your current course & the next steps you could select Choose which course(s) you would like to pursue and read the guidance (you can choose up to three different courses) Apply If there is a route which isn’t listed, or you have any questions, please

18 May 2018 3.4 – APPLICATION DETAILS Download the Moving On form at Complete the form electronically (ensure you complete all details even if you think we already have some of the information) Make up to 3 choices, in order of preference (you will usually be offered a place for your first choice) Submit by to the UCLan Admissions Team NB – if you are Moving On in your partner, an internal form may be used.

18 May 2018 3.4 – ORDER OF EVENTS Submit a Moving On application form as soon as possible to study at the UCLan campus Receive a conditional offer by normally within two weeks (subject to you meeting the entry criteria). Accept your offer of a place with the University by replying to your asap. As long as you get the minimum entry grades in your results your place will automatically be available (if you accepted it). Enrol with UCLan at the start of the academic year

Get advice from Student Services Get involved – SU clubs & societies Plan ahead with your coursework
