2 Issues with eSchoolPlus

3 Logging in to eSchoolPlus

4 *Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use with eSchoolPlus TAC
Access eSchoolPlus from the Marlington homepage Click on the Staff dropdown menu on the Marlington home page and choose eSchoolPlus TAC Click on the word Staff and choose eSchoolPlus TAC from the list under Helpful Staff Links *Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use with eSchoolPlus TAC

5 Logging in... Enter the same login you used for Pinnacle:
User Name: firstname.lastname Password: password (Reset Password)

6 Database Selection Make sure that the database is selected as Marlington Local. This is the only database that teachers should be able to access. Click OK.

7 Navigating the TAC (Teacher Access Center)

8 Background Settings... When you click on your name, the link for Settings will appear. Clicking on Settings will allow you to change the appearance of your gradebook, as well as allowing you to set a default for your assignments, your attendance, etc.

9 TAC Homescreen... Clicking on the Home button will always return you to this screen. Clicking on any class will pull up the class list

10 Viewing Class Details... *Click on a student name to get detailed student information *Click on the Alert Icons to see alerts for each student *Click on Change Class to look at a different class list Change Class Alerts Class Details

11 Student Details - Quick View
This screen allows you to view student information, contact details and student schedule.

12 Student Details... All Contact Information Registration Information Interim and Report Card Information Current Standardized Test Information (this will develop throughout the year) Summary of Classwork for Each Class

One note...at the elementary and middle school level, attendance will be taken under Primary Homeroom. At the high school level, attendance will continue to be taken each period.

21 Basic Seating Chart Click on the Gear Icon to bring up seating chart options.

24 Gradebook

25 Access Gradebook You can access the gradebook in two ways.

26 Gradebook Setup Click the dropdown next to Gradebook and choose Setup. Check to make sure categories are showing for each class by clicking on the Categories tab. These categories are set by the district and locked.

27 Gradebook Icons Located under Gradebook>Entry From left to right:
Dropdown for reports Show/hide withdrawn students Set an Indicator (ignore) Add assignment SAVE (*Saving is VERY IMPORTANT*) Settings

28 Choose Rubrics/Competencies
Adding an Assignment Title Assignment Due Date Choose Category Choose Rubrics/Competencies Enter Points Weight should stay 1 Publish to Home Access Center. Click once to publish assignment with no score. Click twice to publish assignment AND score.

29 Assignment Features Assignment Details Publish Mass Update:
Bulk grade input= all students get 25/25 Clear entered scores Import from a file= unsure about this at this point

30 Expanded View of Assignment Details
Clicking at the top of each columns will sort by ascending and descending Assignment Scores Z=counts as zero, not turned in X=excused; not counted against student This allows for Free Form comments for individual assignments. *BE CAREFUL* Parents can see this!

31 Standards and Competencies
For elementary gradebooks, you must also add your standards when creating an assignment. Click on the box next to Rubrics/Competencies Use: No Rubric - use this option if the assignment is only tied to one standard Simple Rubric - use this if the assignment will be tied to multiple standards. With simple rubric, you must choose Sum for the Assignment Points. Click on the icon with the plus sign to pull up the standards after you have chosen your rubric Choose the standard/s you want to use and then click on OK Enter the point values of each standard if you chose the Simple Rubric

32 Reports There are various different reports with which you can
experiment. The Student Detail is one that may be advantageous to pull at times.

33 eSchoolPlus Tips Always log out and close your browser before you walk away from your gradebook Use Google Chrome as your browser for eSchoolPlus Be sure to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE
