Manhunt begins Focus on the Texas School Book Depository
6th floor window, storage room Dallas patrolman J.D.Tippit spots a man answering to the description of an employee missing from the warehouse. He is shot three times, killed instantly. Lee Harvey Oswald runs into a movie theatre, and is taken into custody.

Sunday morning. Oswald is being moved from the city prison to the county jail. Oswald is shot by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner in Dallas. Oswald is pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital.

The Truth is Out There… In 1979, the House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) agreed with the Warren Commission that Oswald assassinated Kennedy, but found both the original FBI investigation and the Warren Commission Report to be seriously flawed. The HSCA concluded that there were at least four shots fired, that there was a "high probability" that two gunmen fired at the President, and that it was probable that a conspiracy existed. The HSCA stated that "the Warren Commission failed to investigate adequately the possibility of a conspiracy to assassinate the President." 22
