Your options For next year:
#1 Continue with the language you are currently studying. #2 Switch to the first year of Chinese (X,H), French (A,X,H), German (X,H), Italian (X,H), Latin (X,H) , Spanish (A,X,H) #3 Continue with your current language AND begin first year of Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, or Spanish (provided there is room in your schedule)

Levels Academic (A) Accelerated (X) Honors (H) Advanced Placement (AP)
Modified pace to accommodate the individual needs and abilities of the students. Designed to prepare students for future study at the college level. Stage 1 Enter Text Here Stage 2 Stage 3 Stage 4 Academic (A) The pace is accelerated and the workload is demanding. Designed as a solid foundation for success in most colleges. Accelerated (X) Like AP courses, provide the greatest challenge and best preparation for success at academically rigorous colleges. Honors (H) College-level courses taught according to syllabi prescribed by the College Board Advanced Placement Program. Possible college credit can be awarded through AP tests. Advanced Placement (AP) Academic level available for French and Spanish 1, 2, 3 only. 3

Conestoga Complete French 3 or Spanish 3 or Two consecutive years of any language at CHS (levels 1 and 2).

Sequence of Study if you continue with French or Spanish at the high school Stage 1 Enter Text Here Stage 2 Stage 3 Stage 4 9th Grade: French/Spanish 3 (A,X,H) 10th Grade: French/Spanish 4 (X,H,AP) 11th Grade: French/Spanish 5 (X,H,AP) 9th graders taking Spanish or French should begin to think about the AP option 12th Grade: French/Spanish 6 (X,H)

Sequence of Study if you start a language in 9th grade
9th Grade: 1st year Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish 10th Grade: 2nd year Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish If you have never had a language at the middle school because you were taking reading or you come from another district without language in the middle school, you will follow this sequence of study beginning in 9th grade.

Sequence of Study if you start a language in 9th grade
11th Grade: 3rd year Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish 12th Grade: 4th year Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish (AP offered in French, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish) We currently do not have AP in Chinese. The programs are reviewed on an annual basis.
