Pride is deceitful and “goes before the fall”!
The wrongs of bitterness & cruelty of one people against another will be avenged by God!
When people share in the spoils of wrongdoing, even though they are not instigators of the crimes… “standing on the other side”, he becomes “even… as one of them” (Verse 11)
As a people sows, so shall it reap.
In the “Day of the Lord” – while there will be judgment upon the wicked, there will be redemption for the faithful!!
