10 Every day, Sadako kept up her spirits by carefully folding paper cranes
She believed that if She folded one thousand she would get better again

11 When she got to one thousand, she kept going…

12 But it wasn’t to be. Sadako died on the morning of October 25th 1955.

13 After Sadako’s death, her classmates created a monument to mourn all the children who died in the atomic bombing.

14 This is our cry. This is our prayer. For building peace in this world.
