Dances/Rituals Ghost Dance - initiated by two Paiute shamans, called Wodziwob and Wovoka. This dance was part of a mystical ceremony designed to re-establish the Native Indian culture and to bring a peaceful end of the westward expansion of whites and a return of the land back to Native American Indians. The ritual lasted five straight days This dance spread to other Native Americans tribes who sent people to Wovoka and Wodziwob to learn their teachings and rituals. In a very short period of time the religion spread to most of the Western Native Indians. When the dancers did the Ghost dance they wore shirts of white muslin because the Native Indians believed could not be pierced by the bullets of enemy soldiers. This dance was significant because it was a central feature among the Sioux tribe just before the massacre of Wounded Knee, in 1890. Other dances include - Bear Dance and the Sun Dance

Instruments Turtle Shell Shakers were one of their instruments and it is a interesting one too. As they would dance the would make noise and before the dance the would practice it to sync the beat of the drums to their movement it was mainly for stomp dances. Lets watch a video (this video is of a modern tribe called the chickasaw tribe demonstrating the stomp dance) I tried to put a image of them in here but i didn’t figure it out
