AMS Process Simulation
2
Introduction This presentation has been designed to show you how a company, operating and maintaining a fleet, uses AMS system. Actually, the presentation first shows the process to create an aircraft in the system, and then, the aircraft simulation itself.
3
User Creation The user account module creator allows you to determine who will work with the system and how by giving you specific rights. Your system administrator will be able to manage system users.
4
Aircraft Creation This window allows you to create new aircraft as well as certain specific information such as cycles and warnings by default.
5
AMM Main Menu This is the softwares main menu. From this page on, you have access to all module functionalities.
6
Aircraft Main Menu Here is the aircrafts main menu. It allows you to perform all operations linked to it.
7
Aircraft Data This section allows you to list all components, groups or assembly pieces as well as maintenance actions not associated to components. For every entry, you are able to do a follow-up in terms of hours, calendar time and cycles.
8
Aircraft Data The AD section allows you to do a follow-up of ADs, SBs and SLs, etc. They can be recurrent or unique. The system generates, when needed, a performance report. The inspection section will allow you to create the inspections required by the aircraft manufacturer.
9
Flight Times and Cycle Entries This window can be used (another option is available) to update an aircrafts time by transferring the information from the time sheet or simply by replacing the previous total with the new one, for hours as well as cycles.
10
Defects If the pilot has reported defects, you have the option of creating them in the software for a later date follow-up.
11
Maintenance Planning This section of the report contains the list of maintenance tasks that need to be done soon or are due.
12
Maintenance Execution Now, it is time to prepare maintenance. The system can automatically generate a work order containing all maintenance tasks that have a notice or are due, as well as all defects not repaired. You can eliminate, from this report, the tasks you do not wish to complete immediately. In order to help you make this decision, the system temporarily displays the remaining time for each item.
13
Inventory In case you need parts, here are the windows allowing you to create purchase orders and orders for the parts.
14
Maintenance Execution Here is your work order which will allow your mechanics, who can access the system, to enter the work done associated to every task and to sign off when necessary. For firms who wish to limit system access, this work order can be printed on two types of report. Examples of these reports are shown in the following slide.
15
Examples of Work Orders and Work Cards Once reports are printed, your mechanics can enter by hand the necessary information. In order to generate reports following maintenance execution, another person could enter data in the system. Consult example in the next slide.
16
Maintenance Certification version of the report Here is the completed work order which even contains the mechanics electronic signatures. Electronic signature can completely eliminate the need to produce a paper version of the report
17
Examples of Work Reports and Form 337 Here is an example of a completed work report with electronic signature. Here is an example of Form 337 automatically generated by the system from the work report.
18
Examples of technical booklet entries Here is an example of 2 technical booklet entries which can be printed on self-adhesive paper and placed in appropriate place. The system generates the log book, the airframe log, the engine log, the propeller log and the AD, SB and modification log.
19
System Update Once work is completed, you only have to update the information in the program. This can be done quicky in the same window. Replacement of a component can also be confirmed in this window!
20
Quarantine The system was designed to have a link with the inventory and work orders, thus allowing, with a click, to replace a component by another. The removed component will automatically be quarantined to the repairable parts or trashed for others.
21
Necessary Pilot Information Since you must advise pilot of the next maintenance task, AMS can generate the document containing this information. This report also supplies you with the liste of non-installed components, non-repaired defects and can even include the aircrafts weight and CG. You can also include various notes.
22
Status Example Here is an example of a report containing aircraft status. This report contains the list of all components, recurrent ADs and inspections with related information.
23
Example of an AD Performance Report Here is the AD, SB and SL performance report. It contains all the related information from the last execution.
24
Example of an Operation Cost Report Since there is a link between the work order and the inventory, the system can generate an invoice or a cost report including task description, list of parts and labour. On the last page, you will find applicable taxes and totals.
25
Transaction Report In order to simplify accounting, the AMS system generates a report of all transactions and even an inventory reconciliation. They can be exported in an EXCEL file, which is very appreciated by the clients.
26
Conclusion As you were able to see for yourself, AMS offers a completely integrated system with all the functionalities you need to optimize and standardize your processes. Furthermore, you have certainly noticed that the presentation of our windows often differ from our competition since AMS was conceived by and for people in the field of aviation and not for computer specialists Finally, this was a brief presentation of our systems possibilities. We would like to offer you a direct and online demonstration to illustrate these possibilities. You can reach us by phone : 418 679-5255 or email : sales@aircraftms.com Thank you for taking the time to view this presentation of AMS products. We hope you will soon become another one of our satisfied clients! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
