1. Book Report
Objective: Students will be able to summarize the main components of plot within a book.
Logon to Prezi with your school address and your school password.
Click Once you click on that, a new screen appears and you need to choose a template. Choose a template that has at least (minimum) of four bubbles.
For slide 1, type in the book’s title where it states “tap to edit title”. You should be choosing a book that you have read this year.
For slide 2 (first bubble), state the setting of the book. Make sure you have selected on the bottom of the screen in order to input text.
For slide 3 (second bubble), state five characters from the book. Also, write a brief description of each character.
For slide 4 (third bubble), state plot of the text (be sure to state what happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the book).
For slide 5 (fourth bubble), state the theme of the book. Then, justify why that is the theme of the book.
Once you are done with your slides, you need to create a title for the prezi. Click on the white area on the top of the screen When you click on the white area, a box should open that is called “Prezi Settings”. Click where it says “Untitled prezi”. Delete that title and input your initials plus the title of the book.
In the “Prezi settings” box, look at privacy settings. Make sure that “public” has the check mark next to it. If it does not, you can change it by clicking on the word “public”.
Once you are done, click “my prezis” on the top left hand corner. A box will open. Make sure that you click “save and close”. Once you click this option, you will be brought back to your home screen. Once you are on your home screen, raise you hand and show me your presentation. Once you show me your presentation or the progress you have made, you can logoff by clicking on the head on the top right.
