1 Applications of Trigonometry In Real Life
By: Jahmar Pereira

2 What is Trigonometry? Trigonometry is a another form of math dealing with the relationship of the sides and angles of triangles. This relationship can be understood by the six trig functions sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, cosecant and secant.

3 When Will I Use Trig In my life?
Trigonometry is not exclusive to school, it can be used in a different number of ways. There are a select number of careers out there that require the use of trigonometry.

4 Math Teacher The obvious career that trigonometry can be applied to is a math teacher specifically one in the trigonometry department Students have to be taught how to use trig functions, about the unit circle and so on. Information has to be properly taught so a really good understanding of trig is required Average Salary: $43,839-$75,279

5 Animator Animators use trig for the placement of characters and objects. If an scene is created that involves an explosion the trajectory has to be calculated which involves not only trig but physics as well. It is used to find the distance between to objects. Average Salary Between $33,840-$113,470.

6 Professional Photographer
Photographers use trig to capture subjects form different angles. Trig and other branches of math are used to determine the amount of exposure, depth of field, shutter speed, etc. Average Salary between $49,102-$69,815

7 Pilots Pilots have to use trig functions to figure out what angle of lift off. They also use it to avoid contact with mountains and many other obstructions to their planes. Trig is also used to find the altitude which they have to maintain. Average Salary: $36,000 to $151,000

8 Architecture Architectures use trig to determine the height of a building and length of a wall. Angles of intersection have to be found to ensure safety and the stability of the building. Average Salary: $46,080-$125,520
