What is foreign aid? A country provides financial or other forms of support (ex. equipment or food) to nations in need. This most often occurs between developed nations providing assistance to developing nations. Canadian foreign aid could be for a one-time occurrence (ex. after a disaster), or it could be continual support through an official developmental assistance program (ODA). 34.3 million people in Africa are suffering from HIV/AIDS. Above, Orphan Swana, 14 years old, 17kg, suffered from Aids since birth 2.4 million people in Africa have died of AIDS ( equivalent student population of our school 2800 times over)
