Overview of Hierarchies Workbench
The hierarchy workbench is a easy to use rich UI for performing all site hierarchy related tasks. The hierarchies workbench could be used for Viewing Site Hierarchies Manipulating Site Hierarchies Comparing Hierarchies side by side A hierarchy is a classification of relationships, grouped at several levels. This grouping is used in maintenance, analysis, and site decisions. Appendix – Integration with Assets, Locations, and Organizations

Setting Up Site Hierarchies

Editing Site Hierarchies
You can edit a hierarchy structure, by: Moving position of sites and nodes Deleting sites and nodes Add new nodes and sites Copy one hierarchy structure to another Setting Up Site Hierarchies When you define a hierarchy, you add nodes to the tree structure. Hierarchies consist of top level nodes, and child nodes. The child node can be either a node of the hierarchy, or the sites attached to the hierarchy. Site Hub enables you to: Update existing nodes by changing name and description Add additional nodes to the hierarchy Copy portions of the node structure to other areas of the hierarchy Delete nodes from the hierarchy Move nodes within the hierarchy Site Hub User Role – Managing Sites

Comparing Site Hierarchies
Hierarchies Workbench enables you to compare site hierarchies side by side. Information displayed can aid in examining and comparing hierarchy alignment Comparing Site Records Select records from either the Simple Search or Advanced Search pages for comparing sites: Select at least two sites, and up to 5 site records Choose Compare in the Select Site box to display the View Comparisons page.
