Figure 1 Analytical verification of the anticipated reportable range of the satellite DNA (SatDNA) and kinetoplastid DNA (kDNA) real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) methods. The assays were performed with spiked guanidine-EDTA-blood samples that contained 105 to 0.25 parasite equivalents per milliliter of blood (par. eq./mL), tested in triplicate.
