5. SIMPLE CLOSED CURVES.
A closed curve which does not cross itself is called a simple closed curve .
Eg;

The simple closed curves which are made of line segments alone are called polygons.
Note: polygons are formed of three or more line segments .
Eg:Triangle ( 3 line segments )
Quadrilateral ( 4 line segments)
