5. Writing Exponential Functions
You can write an exponential function when given two points on the graph of the function.
Plug the x and y values of both points into the form for an exponential equation:
f(x) = a(b)x
Then, solve one of the equations for a or b and use substitution.

How do you find the inverse of a function?
Let’s graph y = 2x and its inverse.
The inverse of exponential functions are logarithmic functions.
