My passions: -Being active -Family -Video games -Friends -Knowledge

Being active -Staying active and having a healthy lifestyle is probably the most important thing to me. I love the smell of fresh air and the feeling of the cold breee. I view being active as a crucial part of life. If you’re not active, you’re just lazy. Since I was very little my parents were insanely enthusiastic and strict about being active. My parents are so strict that they rather me get injured playing outside then being inside playing video games. By the age of 9 I had already done the Grouse Grind in just above and hour. My favorite thing to do for going outside and enjoying the fresh air is biking, I love biking. I love to go up to Burke mountain and ride the trails and hearing the wind howl through my ears. As of now, I still do hikes, runs, bike rides, workouts and conditioning. I will forever be active, including when I am older.

Family -fam·i·ly 1. A group of related people who
ˈfam(ə)lē/ bond and love eachother. -In this case, this definition is exactly family. Family makes you feel warm and loved. I can not explain how much I appreciate my family. Not only my parents, but my grandparents help out so much. When ever I am feeling down, they are always there. My grandma on my dad’s side, we call her Gran, helps out so much to the point that’s she basically drained. My grandma on my mom’s side is the best at baking and cooking, her chienese food is to die for and her bakes just taste too good. All in all, my family means the world to me. I could not live without them.

Video games -Video games are the love of my life. I think all the guys in this class can agree with me. Although being active is basically the exact opposite, I can not live without video games. In my free time, 90% of the time, I would be playing video games. They are truly the only thing that relaxes me when I am alone. There is truly nothing as powerful as video games to me, but there’s a problem. My parents would kill to make me stop playing them. To be honest, I would chose to do video games rather than homework.

Friends -Friends are there to support you and to help you with life. Along with fun times here an there. Friends make everything better, in every aspect. Hanging out, talking and being with friends makes you feel safe and amused. Just hearing their voices puts you in a good mood. Even doing homework or playing video games, I still will be talking to them because it’s fun having someone to converse with. It is good to be social and talkative. I believe everything is better with friends.

Knowledge -Knowledge is they golden ticket to success in this world. With this endless power, you can decide to have a bright future. To me, knowledge means you are motivated and you want to succeed, but if you have it, you are classified as lazy. It shocks me when I hear that some people drop out of school or get terrible grades. I feel knowledge is one of the most important skills to have because if there’s no knowledge, there’s no future. In my family, having an education and getting good grades means the world. My grandad never got to go to post secondairy because back then, there was no getting an education. He says “Stick in school, get smart. I’ll tell you kid, doing labor for your job sucks. It feels terrible.” 7
