Are Jefferson Lab’s deliverables properly identified in terms of scope and level of detail?
Yes, we concur that JLab’s deliverables are properly identified.
Recommendations:
Deliverables should be coordinated across the project and all team members.
Is the format of package deliverables and level of detail adequate for the bid and for project execution?
This is challenging to confirm in the format of this Progress Review.
Conduct an overall review with deliverables from SG and Vendor information.
Consider reducing drawing content or reformatting for bidding.
Clearly define various equipment scopes in the drawings.
Review for bidability and complete cost estimating effort.
Is the present status of the Jlab scope well-described and understandable?
Yes, JLab documented the status very well with the use of checklists and charts.

Is the remaining work required to complete the Jlab scope properly identified?
Yes, the remaining work to meet the submittal to SLAC has been identified.
Recommendations:
Integrate work with SG and others.
Plan for completion of work to incorporate final QC review and SLAC BIO Comments
Is the plan to complete credible, sufficiently detailed and appropriate?
Yes, a detailed week to week plan was identified; however the plan for Mechanical indicated a later date of completion (July 7 vs June 19). Remaining Mechanical Submission may not allow adequate time for incorporation of BIO comments.
Prepare for final coordination between disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical and SG.
Ensure responsibilities identified for overall reviews and coordination
Are the resources in the plan adequate, properly identified, and available?
Yes.
Plan for additional resources after FDR.

Is Jefferson Lab providing the support and resources required to meet the project schedule for Jlab’s cryoplant scope?
Yes
Recommendations:
1. The project should stay vigilant in keeping the team focused to responding to any comments during both the procurement and construction phases of the project.
