Current AFT Design Capabilities
MEDIA Cellulose, Cellulose/Glass Blends, Microglass, Dual-Phase Microglass, Synthetics, Water Absorbing Nominal ratings 0.5µm to 149µm Bx (c) = 1000, 1µm to 50µm MATERIALS Metal components from plated carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel of various grades End Caps are stamped, machined, or molded CORES Spiral wound or perforated Core collapse pressures from 75 to 3000PSID ADHESIVES Plastisol, Polyurethane, Epoxy, or Silicone GASKETS, SEALS Buna, Viton, EPR, EPDM, Fiber, Neoprene, or Cork
7
Pleated Cellulose Series
Dependable performance and significant savings over expensive OEM brands Available in Cellulose, Silicone treated cellulose, Glass/Cellulose blends, Synthetic Fiber/Cellulose blends All media tested per ISO or ISO Nominal efficiency in ratings of 0.5µm through 100µm
8
Hydraulic Series, Wire Reinforced
Advanced ‘Dual-Phase/Dual Layer’ Microglass media Bx = 1000 rated at 2.5, 3, 6, 12, 25, 40µm Independently tested per Multi-Pass ISO and DFE (Dynamic Filter Efficiency) Collapse ratings from 150 to 5,000 PSID per ISO 2941 Operating temperatures from -45˚F to 250˚F Low pressure drop at high flow rates
9
Water Absorbent Series
Designed to remove harmful free water from Fuels, Hydraulic Oils, Transformer Oils, Insulating Oils, etc. Special Super-Absorbent Polymer contained in the filter chemically bonds with free water, no downstream release Combined with particulate removal media rated at 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 20µm When the absorbent is saturated, the filter restricts the flow, indicating that water is a problem and action must be taken
10
Synthetic Series Micro-glass, Polyester, Polypropylene and other media that provide a wide range of fluid compatibilities and efficiencies for long term service in demanding industrial fluid filtration applications Used in filtration of Coolants, Machining fluids, Chemicals, and Process liquids
11
EDM Series (Electrical Discharge Machining)
Cost effective replacements for OEM Wire and Ram EDM filters Corrosion Resistant High-Collapse construction for long service life Efficiencies from 1 micron to 30 micron available in all sizes
12
Custom Engineered Products
Our broad range of experience in fluid filtration, product design, and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes allows us to custom design filter elements to meet demanding, unique OEM requirements.
13
AFT Quality The AFT Quality System (AFQS) ensures that:
All incoming material is inspected against specs Measurements are taken and recorded at each work center The media used has been tested by the manufacturer to ISO standards Final inspection is conducted against the job documentation
14
AFT – Attention to Detail
AFT uses State-of-the-Art equipment to Provide the latest advances in filtration Meet or exceed the OEM specs Produce orders quickly and dependably Provide consistent quality and performance from run to run
15
