Does not include all the same audiences as the portals
Process oriented (HOW), as opposed to the portal pages which are information oriented (WHAT)
Do includes some of the same tools seen in portals
NOT REQUIRED, NOT EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE
Toolkits serve different purposes by audience
Admin—implement at the school/district level
Teacher – implement at the classroom level
Parent/Student – prepare for the increased rigor of the CCSS
Early Childhood—awareness of CCSS and connection to Kindergarten
