What are the main cellular components visible under a microscope?
Animal cells : The cellular membrane, the cytoplasm, the nucleus and the nuclear membrane Plant cells : Same as animal cells + cell wall, the vacuole and the chloroplasts.

Magnifying lens must be multiplied by eyepiece to get total magnification Ex: 10x (eye piece) X 4x (objective lens) = 40x magnification
