Figure 1 Pseudomonas aeruginosa ExoS Targets Ras to Inhibit NADPH-Oxidase Complex Assembly P. aeruginosa uses a type three secretion syringe to inject effector proteins, including ExoS, to manipulate host cells. ExoS ADP-ribosylates Ras, which physically blocks its interaction with PI3K.
