2. Samir and Samira are eight -year –old twins
Samir and Samira are eight -year –old twins. They live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with their mum, older sister, step-dad and step-brother.

3. Samir and Samira live in an area of Rio de Janeiro called Maré which means ‘tide’. Maré is a favela which is also known as a ‘shanty town’ or ‘slum’.
