There are many different kinds of people in our society, and there are many different leaders in different areas of society.

Leaders can be individuals, or they can be groups of leaders.

Therefore…. Essentially, leadership is about one person of a group influencing others to work together to achieve a goal.

Task A1.1: You will demonstrate an understanding of the concept of leadership by comparing various leadership styles in a variety of situations. Situations: using empathetic styles when the goal is to help others using transformational style when the goal is to create change using assertive or autocratic style in an emergency situation using a democratic style to increase input using a laissez-faire style when the participants understand the task and have the skills to be successful For each situation, provide a paragraph explanation of how you would demonstrate each leadership style. 5 marks per paragraph 25 marks total
