5. There are many different kinds of people in our society, and there are many different leaders in different areas of society.

Essentially, leadership is about one person of a group influencing others to work together to achieve a goal.

8. Task A1.1: You will demonstrate an understanding of the concept of leadership by comparing various leadership styles in a variety of situations.
Situations:
using empathetic styles when the goal is to help others
using transformational style when the goal is to create change
using assertive or autocratic style in an emergency situation
using a democratic style to increase input
using a laissez-faire style when the participants understand the task and have the skills to be successful
For each situation, provide a paragraph explanation of how you would demonstrate each leadership style. 5 marks per paragraph
