12. Well, they say you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink, and I guess that’s true. But, you can do a lot of things to entice him to drink!

Match Kids to Books (Present him with a custom-flavored bottle of water): This is one of the most powerful (and underutilized) tools in our teaching toolbox for enticing reluctant readers: we must match them with books that 1)They can read and 2)They want to read.
