3 What is HOSA? HOSA or Health Occupations for Students of America, is a student run organization that introduces members to the world of healthcare. This club give members the opportunity to explore the thousands of different career paths in the field of health care.

4 Membership and Dues Information
Yearly Dues: $20 District Competitions Dues: $20 Yearly dues and District Dues are seperate payments. Cash dues will be collected on September 20th. Late dues WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

5 Membership and Dues Information (Continued)
Cash Payments will be accepted. They must be given to a HOSA Leader, Mrs. Clayton and Farrell cannot accept the money. There is an Online Payment Portal available for students that want to pay dues online.

6 Point System This year there will be bi-weekly reminders to all members concerning how much points they have. Any questions or concerns about points, see the Secretary.

7 First Members Meeting The first meeting for members will be on October 11th. Please make sure to sign in. Attendance will be taken.

8 Reindeer Day!!

9 This year we will be selling COFFEE!!!!

10 Materials to bring Coffee Filters Stirring Straws Coffee Grounds Ect.
Insulated Styrofoam Cups Lids Each donation will be points. Napkins Sugar Creamer (different flavors)

11 Field Trips!!!

12 8th Grade Tour This year we will visit different schools around RHS. We will talk about HOSA and the Health Science Program at RHS. The schools that we are visiting are: Rolesville Middle Riverbend Middle Beaver Dam Middle Wake Forest Middle

13 Medical Museum This year we will go to the Country Doctor Museum. It is a Medical Museum where we can learn the history of Medicine. Admission Fee: $4 (plus tax) More information will be given later.

14 UNC Relay for Life Walk-a-thon
This year we will participate in the Relay for Life Walk-a-thon at UNC. This event will be for The American Cancer Society. More information will be given later.

15 Committees This year we will have 6 committees
Public Relations (Dulce) Social (Amyia) Competition (Sami) Employment (Andy) Community Service (Gabby) Fundraising (Taylor)
