1 More Than Conquerors “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:   “For your sake we face death all day long;
   we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39

2 MTC Mission That we continue to seek God in our lives, so that we may be able to edify though accountability and community. Accountability – a trusting relationship that allows for open sharing to seek and give support for spiritual restoration, without fear of judgment or betrayal To walk hand in hand with with SCAC’s Vision, focusing on intentional prayer. This comes through knowing and living out that purpose of prayer --- to see and believe and model a life of prayer. We want to build up disciples who are godly leaders and help in return build up more godly leaders. This spurts from a deep grounding in the Word, understanding the Lord’s desire to make disciples and seeing it transition to how we minister to one another, whether or not it is through our peers, our greater community and those in the next generation. To raise up the next generation who is even more passionate, more mature, more knowledgeable and much more kingdom-minded. We want to be a blessing to our community – through the use of our resources which are exemplified ultimately through our actions. As well, we desire to solidly embrace our identity as a Christian, as a church, as a denomination and seeing its great impact to our community and fellow believers. Do we live out what we preach and declare to believe?   We want to focus on what is next in our calling in the mission field – to vision and seek to be missional-focused and respond in pro-active ways that produce fruit, bring unity and peace and exemplify the love of the Lord for all. Community – a devoted, life-touching-life relationship that allows for open sharing to rejoice and exalt God in our lives, in order to bless and to be blessed.

3 Our Mission   To spur one another to being an accountable, active, spirit-filled and prayerful community that seeks to be passionately devoted to loving the Lord, walking in the Word, daily living out the personal faith and seeking to be blessed so that we can go and bless others MTC Vision

4 SCommAC Theme for 2011 “ Come to the Well”
Isaiah 12: 3-5 “ With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say; ‘Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make know among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.” “Come to the Well” is an invitation for every believer in Christ to seek Jesus in a deeper and more meaningful way, to practice our walk with Him in the power of the Spirit and true authenticity. 4 Themes: Draw from the Well – call to a prayer focused life Drink from the Well – call to a deeper life in Jesus Share from the Well – call to make Jesus known Live around the Well – call to a life of discipleship Building into an Irresistible Environment requires YOU and ME = Togetherness as ONE. Its an environment which is intentionally designed to draw those within it to focus on the message that the environment contains. - The people are combined and unified in spirit from wall to wall. It is a family joined together by Christ. The message is identifiable – you know where you are headed (direction) and the outcome of that direction What you see in the church, the people in the church, the vision of the church is represented by one single continuous voice that speaks of unity It’s a group of individuals that call each other family. Its from “your church/sg” to “the church/sg” to “our church/sg” to “MY church/MY small group”. Its acknowledging that there is no “I” in TEAM   All points to understanding vision for fellowship and small group you are part of so that it becomes REAL and personal for yourself and thus are equipping each other to walk forward together.

5 To spur one another to being an accountable, active, spirit-filled and prayerful community that seeks to be passionately devoted to loving the Lord, walking in the Word, daily living out the personal faith and seeking to be blessed so that we can go and bless others. Spur – something that protrudes out/ outgrowth  causes a stimulus or action Accountable – trusting relationship, support, restproation Active – movement, not passive, doing Spirit-filled – fullness of the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:52), lifeblood of us as one community Prayerful - intercessors, warriors in the kingdom, without ceasing ( 1Thess 5:16-17) Community - same heart and obedience that makes differences common, family, build life-touching life relations Passionately devoted – intense, all in, beyond normalcy, loyalty and fervor Loving the Lord – with all our heart, soul, mind (Matt 22:37), know My love so you can love others (1 John 4-5) Walking in the Word - living out the truth, walking testimony of your faith, grounded in Biblical truth Daily living out the personal faith – not just on Sundays but continuously and consciously aware, not lukewarm Seeking to be blessed – coming to the well! Knowing Him, learning, growth, mentorship, becoming a disciple Go and bless others – great commission, making disciples, drawing out from the well
