Answer to the lack of an integrated and coordinated policy agenda How to respond to the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation for the economy and the job market in Flanders? Education and lifelong learning: develop competences predictions strengthen key competences and develop new skills stimulate new learning methods like dual learning create learning paths throughout the career validate non-formal and informal learning promote partnerships reach out to vulnerable groups provide incentives to employers and employees (11/07/2018: SERV- agreement on the reform of training incentives ) invest in futureproof infrastructure

What? identification of opportunities and challenges for Flanders Result: beginning of 2019: diagnostic report, an analysis of the Flemish skills policy and recommendations on how to strengthen this in the future. development of a learning culture use of competences in the workplace how to match competences and (future) jobs better relevant structures and partnerships for a competence policy of the future funding of education and training
