2. Slide 1-2: Introduction to the Subject Technology
Give a brief overview of the technology in the order of why, how, what:
To whom (or why) is this research meaningful?
How does it work? (This is the technical sentence on this slide)
What will it do? (Think overall and big picture)
Keep in mind for this slide to:
Describe your technology to someone not in your subfield
Add figures to help convey your message
Keep your text brief and jargon-free
Be sure to write-out all acronyms at least once
Don’t over crowd the page
What problem are you solving?
How urgent is that problem?
How big is that problem? (incidence/prevalence?)

3. Slide 3-4: What makes your technology a good investment?
Be sure to demonstrate:
Repeatability.
Reproducibility.
If your data has not been reproduced, what other group has the ability to reproduce this data?
If published/presented, what has been the community response to this data?
Intellectual Property Status of proposal/technology
Please perform cursory review using link provided for your technology
Have you submitted invention disclosure to OSU Technology Commercialization Office?

4. Appendix
Keep your pitch deck short and focused (only 10 minutes presentation time)
However, feel free to have as many slides as needed in the Appendix
We may be able to look at some of these slides during the discussion time AFTER your presentation (up to 10 minutes)
