Report Template (.PBIT file) = Report (.PBIX file) – Data
Users can additionally define Query Parameters
Parameters can be optional or required and can have value restrictions (by data type, static or dynamic list of values)
When opening a PBIT File, a new PBIX file will be created with actual data for current user (asking for any parameters as needed and refreshing queries with the user’s credentials)
