Reading
Students are identifying the characters, setting, and important events in fiction books as well as re-telling stories and events using the beginning, middle and end. SOL 1.9f, 1.9g
Writing
Students are practicing putting spaces in between words and spelling sight words correctly. SOL 1.12b, 1.13f
Math
Students are identifying the number of tens and ones that can be made from a number up to 100 as well as identifying the place value of each digit in a two digit numeral. SOL 1.2
