· Both private and public.
· Has more degrees than a community college, less degrees then a university.
· Cost different for each school.
· Professors teach the classes.
· Most have athletics and activities.
· Has associate, bachelor and some master degrees.

7. University · Larger campus. · Larger classes. · More majors.
· Classes may be taught by Teacher Assistants
· Colleges are under the University umbrella.
· Has associate degrees, bachelor degrees, masters, PhD’s and Professional degrees.
· Most have athletics and activities.
· Professors are required to do research. 

8. Religious Colleges
· Have a religious affiliation and may require certain religious classes.

9. Accelerated College · Complete four years of school in three years.
· Go to school all year long.
