2. Changes in summary Look and feel
Improved performance on changing dates and funder scheme (new server process)
Menu changes (formatted reports now found in ‘Common’)

Screen can be split in two
Project setup changes. Project dates fields no longer hidden and exchange rates can be entered (and shown) to 7 decimal points
DA staff tab: salary total field moved.
Approvers: Selecting costing from task list takes you to approval screen for that costing
Validation: new zoom to where warning/error is on costing
Funder tab: new funder decision status

Notes field - text size bigger
Salary calculator now takes into account increments prior to start date
Bug fixes
Copy to new funder now retains rates and currency information
Fixed ‘NaN’ issue on Wellcome Trust costings
Off-scale grades starting salaries and increments for DI staff now showing if foreign currency being used
No longer need to use ‘currency revaluation’ button in project setup if new exchange rates (just upload new file)
Validate and submit issue fixed

4. But some new problems
Calculation issues when costing DI staff by Person by period (so if need to cost different FTE within a project year either create multiple posts or provide average FTE within breakdown by year).
Edit button has disappeared on Funder inflation rates tab when funder inflation is the same as University inflation. If you need to edit the inflation rates please contact the helpdesk.
For those of you involved with award and post costings, the RPFs generated by Research Services will open on a previously hidden worksheet (Header info). Just ignore this and look at the RPF1A etc.
