As an active duty service member, you and eligible family members are entitled to certain voting benefits and services
As you transition, it is important that you realize these benefits and services may no longer be available

Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA)
The Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (MOVE)

UOCAVA provides the legal basis for absentee voting requirements for you and your eligible family members
Under UOCAVA each state shall permit you to register and to vote by absentee ballot in elections for Federal Office
