Percentage of U.S. high school students receiving mostly A’s, B’s, C’s or D/F’s who ever had sexual intercourse – Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2003.* This means that 31% of students with mostly A’s ever had sexual intercourse and 67% of students with mostly D/F’s ever had sexual intercourse. *p<.0001 after controlling for sex, grade level, and race/ethnicity.

Percentage of U.S. high school students receiving mostly A’s, B’s, C’s or D/F’s who had first sexual intercourse before age 13 years – Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2003.* This means that 3% of students with mostly A’s had first sexual intercourse before age 13 years and 16% of students with mostly D/F’s had first sexual intercourse before age 13 years. *p<.0001 after controlling for sex, grade level, and race/ethnicity.

Percentage of U.S. high school students receiving mostly A’s, B’s, C’s or D/F’s who had sexual intercourse with four or more persons during their life – Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2003.* This means that 8% of students with mostly A’s had sexual intercourse with four or more persons during their life and 28% of students with mostly D/F’s had sexual intercourse with four or more persons during their life. *p<.0001 after controlling for sex, grade level, and race/ethnicity.
