DataLyzer® Spectrum SPC Wizard
2
Contents DataLyzer® is a system developed with the implementation of SPC on the shop floor in mind. The modules HUB, Satellite and Executive Monitor give you excellent possibilities to monitor the status of the current processes and to analyze data. The SPC Wizard module adds training capabilities and further analysis possibilities on top of this. The following screens show the 3 control loops when SPC is applied in an organization and where the different DataLyzer® modules will be used

Reading the DataLyzer® database
In SPC Wizard you can read the DataLyzer® database directly without any conversion step. You can also read data from other type of files or databases directly eg Excel.
8
Analyze the DataLyzer® data
In the following screens you will see several examples In Wizard you have a lot of features and multiple windows on screen which gives you the possibilities to analyze the data.
9
You can customize the look of the chart on your screen
You can show notes on screen
10
Each vertical bar shows the subgroup where an optional parameter has changed. In this graph we have made control charts per optional parameter value
11
Multiple windows can be shown together on screen.
The screens are completely interactive eg click on any point in one of the graphs and that specific subgroup is highlighted in all other windows.
12
You can show multiple charts on the screen both for variables or attributes for example all characteristics entered in a sequence can be shown on one screen
13
Colored zones in the histogram show you the 1, 2 and 3 sigma areas
Colored zones in the histogram show you the 1, 2 and 3 sigma areas. Again interactive features help you with what if analysis immediately showing the consequence for capability
14
You can show multiple histograms
You can show multiple histograms. In the picture above you see a histogram of the raw data and a histogram of the subgroup averages. Scales are linked to make comparison easier.
15
SPC Wizard is able to correlate data in different DataLyzer® files based on a common optional parameter or a predefined difference of the time period This correlation can also be made with data in other files (Excel, ACCESS, Text files or ODBC databases !! ) giving you the possibility to make correlations quickly between different process steps or between a supplier and your own production data
16
For attribute data you can create charts instantly for any combination of attributes
You can make a correlation analysis between attributes or between attributes and variables
17
You can make Pareto analysis on screen and again have several interactive options like excluding specific columns, exclude columns with zero defects etc.
18
These multi vari chart helps you to find causes of variation
When you click on this point you will see the info. In this case: Optional parameter 1 has value 1 Optional parameter 2 has value P In total there were 5 subgroups in the database for this combination of optional parameters and the average was and the std.dev was You are able to make multi vari analysis based on optional parameters and characteristics or based on different characteristics in your DataLyzer® database These multi vari chart helps you to find causes of variation
19
By clicking on 2 points in the multi vari chart, the 2 data sets are compared with the F and the t test. This shows if 2 data sets in the multi vari chart are significantly different from each other.
20
In Wizard you can open multiple characteristics of a part file in one data table. They are included in a row based on date and time offering you different methods to analyze the data.
21
Multiple correlation If you open multiple charts you can ask for a correlation table of all characteristics and parameters. The list of correlation coefficients can be sorted on value or by characteristic This analysis can also directly be performed on Excel data An example of this analysis on DataLyzer® data is shown in the next screen
