1-Major Oil and Gas Plants Expansions
ADNOC Group is currently going through multibillion dollars expansion projects for many of its oil, gas and petrochemical facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Assets and Inventory will be more than double in the coming five years. Need for accuracy and completeness of Commercial and Engineering data since they are critical for the timely completion of Projects and for the Plants operations. Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 3

2-Importance of data Suppliers: Need for a wide range of approved Vendors/Contractors to procure quality products and services at optimum costs (In Billions of US$). Assets: Need for accurate Assets information, specification, Inventory Catalogue, Bill of Materials, Parts lists, Drawings, etc for effective maintenance in order to keep high Plants Reliability and Availability at optimum costs. 3-Origin of data Vendors and EPC Contractors.
Large volume of data originating from many different sources is difficult to handle accurately in a limited project duration. Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 5

4-Original process for collection and input of data
Various electronic formats and some in hard copies. Scattered incomplete information. Manual input into Maximo that have a great impact on accuracy and completeness of data. Electronic downloads (Back end) into Maximo tables that have a great impact on accuracy and integrity of data. Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 6

5-Problems Incomplete and inaccurate information.
Ineffective procurement of Assets. High Inventory levels. Inaccurate Inventory Catalogue (Buying Description, etc). Inaccurate sourcing of materials. Ineffective operation and maintenance of Assets. Low Plants Reliability and Availability. High Plants operations costs. Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 7

6-Solutions Extend Maximo to worldwide Vendors and EPC Contractors for direct input of base Commercial and Engineering data. Suppliers on line registration and pre-qualification system (E-Registration). On line input of Projects Assets and Spare Parts system (G-SPIR). Systems are based on Maximo 5 and available on the Company’s Internet web site. Note (Inventory Data Sharing system (IDS)) Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 8

7-Data Control and System Support
Ensure that a clear scope and business process is in place (Part of EPC Project Tender Document). Assign dedicated Materials Engineers to review data entered by Vendors/EPC Contractors. Ensure that Training is conducted for the EPC Spare Parts Coordinators. Ensure that User Manual is available on CBT ON LINE. Ensure reliable IT infrastructure. Ensure effective proactive support (Business and IT) Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 10

8-Benefits Direct input of data by respective Assets Vendors and EPC Contractors into Maximo Defined Applications and Templates thus maximizing accuracy and completeness of data. Data analysis and control using Maximo reports and KPIs. Interchangeability made on line with existing stock and against other Projects spares. Non stock items are also catalogued. Assets Bill of Materials are ready before Plants commissioning. Systems are interfaced with Maximo Production thus reducing input errors. Dasdasd gfsrf ADNOC GROUP (GASCO) 11
