We have been in negotiations for a new teacher contract since March 23, 2016.
We have not reached an agreement because the Board is in disarray. We are still negotiating and are hopeful that we will be able to bring to you the best contract.

Compared to what teachers in other counties pay, we like our benefits just the way they are.

We are still negotiating how teachers will earn AUs and the way in which they will be applied.

The Board has proposed limits on the earning and banking of AUs. Our bargaining team has rejected the proposal.
