1. New graphical user interface; more attractive, intuitive and functional
In Jaltest, we have opted for a more functional design, with simple shapes, clear colours and contrasts,
which make the information easier to read and facilitate the constant use of the interface, making it
more pleasing to the eye.

2. Graphical customization
The graphical customization stands out within this new image, thanks to which the user will be able
to choose his favourite colour theme and icon set.
Five possible options:
“Classic”, “Modern”, “Modern red”, “Web” and “Web red”. Example in “modern”:

3. Shortcut to important functions
In the toolbar, you will find a shortcut to new applications (GRP, Iparts and ETM) and another one to the
settings menu. With just one click, you will be able to print, take screenshots, use the virtual keyboard
and access the help menu.

4. Interactive navigation through selection path
Below the toolbar, you will find the selection path, which will help you navigate and access any step you
have previously taken in a quick way. You will also find the new back icons, which will allow you to go back
to a previous step within your selection; the vehicles record, where you will find a shortcut to the latest
selected vehicles, and a link where you will be able to search by the number of number plate the vehicle
you need; and lastly, the Home button, which helps you go back to the vehicle type selection screen.

5. Improvement on the connectors’ selection
New location for the connectors’ information button, located to the right of the selection path, next to the
connect-disconnect button. The connection selection is displayed in a more complete way, offering the
user all the available locations for the vehicle’s model in a single screen.

6. Legend and description of the application icons
In the help menu, you will find a list with the application icons and their description.
This will help you manage and become acquainted with the new software in a faster way.

7. More interactive display of the technical information
New menus with drop-down buttons and windows, new checks and search filters which will allow
customizing the way the technical data are displayed in order to show the information in a more
comfortable and accessible way.

Print the set of parameters of any trailer system in the same format as the data sheet from the original
manufacturers.

New representation of systems with three available options. Systems, select the required system
manually; System scan, select the system type and all the systems available on the vehicle will be

New shortcut to the menu of diagnostic actions, which gives you access to the screens displaying the
diagnosis buttons such as reading and clearance of errors, ECU data, measuring of values,

By means of the errors scan of your vehicle, which will be displayed as a list, you will be able to click on
the error and get the additional information, help and components associated to the error, as well as the
repair guide.

13. New display for the measures selection
In this new window, you will be able to select the desired measures and display them in different ways;
as a list, in a graphic way or through virtual instruments. In addition, you will be able to create
customized measure groups, sort them alphabetically or search a specific measure by means of the
new search filter.

The new Jaltest software has been ergonomically adapted for its use on touch-screens with a finger or
stylus. To do so, we have changed the size of the buttons and icons, making them bigger. The new
interface has been designed to be used by any user in any Tablet, Laptop or PC.

New version of additional Software Modules
16. Jaltest ETM
ETM is a JalTest software additional module used to verify the electronic modules of commercial
vehicles. Just as with Jaltest, it is a dynamic tool that is continually evolving, that is why it will be
updated three times a year. Within this first version, the Jaltest ETM tool covers a wide number of EBS
brake modules references from Knorr and Wabco.
17. Jaltest Iparts: OPTIMIZE THE SPARE PARTS MANAGEMENT
The easiest and most professional information system on spare parts for commercial vehicles. It allows
the user to obtain information on the same reference from different spare parts manufacturers and
suppliers. Save time and money repairing with Jaltest and Jaltest Iparts.

Garage, reception and productivity
It allows unifying the data from customers and vehicles, accessing all the information regarding the
solving of failures from Jaltest Soft and annexing the final diagnostic reports as well the invoices.
