3 What is One Care (BNSSG) Ltd?
Borne out of One Care Consortium which was awarded £5m over 2 years in April 2014 and a further £4.4m in March 2015 Initially a partnership between BrisDoc, GP Care and 24 practices across BNSSG Since become inclusive of all BNSSG practices, and asked to reconstitute as a representative organisation to act as ‘the single voice of general practice’

Established One Care Ltd (BNSSG) Appointed a new Board of Directors Developed executive, project management and support functions Developed Delivery Plan Engagement – practice, patients, system partners Secured funding (Improved Access, Clinical Pharmacists, Stocktake of Primary care)

5 89 out of a possible 90 Shareholding practices
Governance 89 out of a possible 90 Shareholding practices Corporate Structure Board of Directors £1 per share One vote per issue per shareholder 12 Directors -seven GPs, five Qualifying Individuals Chair will be a GP Three Non Voting Directors (CEO, LMC and FD) Co-opted non-voting members (e.g. Lay member) Substantive Chief Executive Officer, Finance Director and Operations Director selection and appointment during November/December 2016 Functions and funding being determined still inform wider structure

6 Vision and purpose Our vision Enabling general practice to both survive and thrive. Our purpose One Care Ltd exists to ensure that the heart of General Practice, so valued by our patients, survives and continues to provide comprehensive, whole-person health care to individuals and their families. Through collaboration, we will adeptly provide the scale, innovation and leadership to evolve our services, so that General Practice is invigorated and thrives into the future.
