16 Lessons Learned Coordination and planning is critical to program success 1 Learn to manage the flow of students 2 Work collaboratively with your learning management system team 3 Measure student usage 4 This is another option for an Overview slide.

17 Implementation Strategies
Equipment Needs and Costs Waacom Tablet ($50-125) Computer with triple monitors ($1500) Logitech webcam ($30) Open-source screen sharing software (Free) Microsoft OneNote 1 Identify a way to distribute the access link 2 Identify and train tutors! (this step is critical to success) 3 Schedule hours to reflect student needs (for us night and weekend hours were critical) 4 This is another option for an Overview slide.

18 Achievement Milestones
Learning Management System was used to create the virtual the tutoring shell. All students enrolled in a mathematics course had access 1 A link using open-source virtual conferencing software gave students free access to live virtual tutoring 2 Screen capture software was used to record sessions for student review 3 Many times “special” sessions were created for extensive and time consuming topics 4 Many students felt more comfortable not having face to face contact. Tutoring services provided easy access for students. 5 This is another option for an Overview slide.
